CMT Music Awards unveil new date and venue

The CMT Music Awards, which agreed to move their date and location when the 2022 Grammy Awards announced their move to Las Vegas, revealed the new date and location for their inaugural broadcast on CBS: The show will now air in live from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium on Monday, April 11, 8-11 p.m. ET; the West Coast broadcast will be delayed, although the show is also available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

The 2022 CMT Music Awards are produced by Margaret Comeaux (CMT), John Hamlin (Switched On Entertainment) and Leslie Fram (CMT). Jackie Barba and Heather D. Graffagnino are production executives; Shanna Strassberg and Taryn Hurd are talented producers.
The show was originally scheduled to take place on April 3, but the ongoing pandemic has caused the Grammy Awards, which also air on CBS, to be moved from their originally scheduled January 31 date to the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles. When the new Grammys date was announced, CBS announced that CMT would be moving.
