DJ Khaled doesn’t want his sons to watch his music videos
Look away! DJ Khalid does not intend to show his clips to his two children.
“I would say no,” the DJ, 45, who recently teamed up with harmless harvest to promote their Dairy Freestyle Challenge, told exclusively We Weekly while sharing its do’s and don’ts with parents. “You have to be smart [what you’re] showing. It’s common sense. …Like, make sure it’s the clean version. And then make sure it’s something they’re ready to see, regardless of age.
In general, the Louisiana native doesn’t want Asahd, 4, and Aalam, 17 months, spending a lot of time staring at screens, explaining, “[Asahd] is always on their iPad, phone or TV. We want him to do other things.
The brothers both have Instagram accounts, but Khaled and his wife, Nicole Tuckcontrol downloads.
“We only post family photos and stuff like that,” the Keys the author said We. “We have to teach our children to make sure that we only represent love and positivity. … You have to let them know in advance how to use [social media]. It’s too early now for my kids, but looking ahead, it would have to be a certain way. Maybe private.
When it comes to little ones following in the Grammy winner’s footsteps in the music industry, Khaled would be in the game.
“Anything they want to do as long as they want to do it [is fine]“, explained the file manager. “In the music industry, you can be someone who makes music. You can be a musical director, there are so many hats to wear in music. If they like it, why not?
He and Tuck, also 45, married in 2009, welcoming their first child seven years later. Aalam arrived in January 2020. While raising their boys, the couple intend not to disagree in front of them.
“We always keep the energy beautiful,” Khaled said We. “We always make sure to be aware that our children are there.”
The pair are all about PDA ahead of Asahd and Aalam, although hugs and kisses are “as far as it goes”, the producer adds. “They are all lucky to see this love. We kiss boys every five minutes. They kiss mom every second. It is the rule.
