Gaon Chart Music Awards 2022: Air date, nominees and winners of the K-pop awards
The Gaon Chart Music Awards is one of the most anticipated major K-pop awards shows that have started to unveil details of their upcoming edition. After nominees and lineups from awards shows like MAMA 2021, AAA 2021, and MMA 2021, we now have the reputable South Korean Gaon Charts gearing up for their annual awards show.
The Gaon Chart Music Awards were launched in 2011 and since then they have been rewarding and honoring K-pop artists for their commercial success and influence with their recent releases. The 10th edition was held in January 2021 at the CJ E&M Center and was hosted by Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Itzy’s Lia, comedian JaeJae and singer Joo Young-hoon. Artists like BTS, EXO’s Baekhyun, Seventeen, Zico, Blackpink, and IU were honored in the previous edition. Now, for the 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards to be held in 2022, the nominees have been announced.

The 2022 Gaon Chart Music Awards will be held on January 27, 2022 at 7 p.m. KST (5 a.m. ET).
where to watch
The 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards will be broadcast on Youtube channels gaonchart and 1theK, KakaoTV and Melon. It could also be streamed live for free on VLive like previous editions. A limited number of fans can also view the K-pop awards show on the Mubeat app like last year.
Hosts
The hosts of the 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards are Eunhyuk from Super Junior and Sieun from STAYC.
Update: As Eunhyuk tested positive for Covid-19, he will be replaced by NCT’s Doyoung and JaeJae.
