Two music videos by singer-songwriter Jayda have qualified as official selections in the Fall 2021 Manhattan International Film Festival (IFFM) Best Music Video category.

Singer and songwriter Jayda is also a music video director.

These videos marked Jayda’s journey into directing, with “Paano Kung Naging Tayo?” making her directorial debut while the music video “MU (Malabong Usapan)” was her co-directing project with Edrex Clyde Sanchez.

On Instagram, artist Star Magic and talent at RISE Artists Studio expressed their gratitude to his Star Music label and ABS-CBN Music head Roxy Liquigan, saying, “Thank you for trusting me and having me. given a chance and a platform to expand my creative horizons and to continue to challenge myself as an artist and creator!

The “Paano Kung Naging Tayo?” MV, with nearly a million views on YouTube, features former PBB:Otso roommate Rhys Miguel. Jayda’s close friend Francine Diaz co-starred with her in the MV for “MU (Malabong Usapan)”, now with 663,000 views on YouTube.

Both tracks are also part of his eight-track debut album released last June titled Bahagi.

The IFFM is an independent film festival in New York in the United States that prides itself on offering a quality selection of world-class films that “encompasses all different genres, including narrative features, documentaries, short films and student films from all over the world.”

This year’s IFFM Fall Festival screening will be held online October 14-17 and live October 16 at the Producers Club in New York City.
