Tejano Music Awards Fanfair kicks off Thursday at San Antonio’s Market Square | Concert Announcements | San Antonio

Grab your hats and boots, folks. The 42nd Annual Tejano Music Awards Fanfair returns this week to San Antonio’s historic Market Square.
Dozens of Tejano and conjunto artists will gather in the “Tejano Capital of the World” for this free four-day event that typically draws tens of thousands of people. The fiesta begins at noon on Thursday, March 17 and won’t end until Sunday, March 20.
Tejano food, drink, and clothing will be available for purchase from vendors who are expected to fill the marketplace. Guests can also meet their favorite musicians at scheduled autograph sessions during the event.

La Fanfare precedes the annual Tejano Music Awards show, scheduled for this fall. The event is organized in collaboration with the Texas Talent Musicians nonprofit, whose mission is to promote greater appreciation and understanding of Tejano music.
