Billboard Music Awards 2022 Mark Travis Scotts first big performance since the Astroworld Tragedy which took place at his concert in Houston last year. The rapper who delivered his first stage performance after months in Miami last week also brought back his award show performance with the Billboard Awards and even performed an unreleased track.

The awards show was also the rapper’s first televised performance since a wave of crowds at his Astroworld Festival concert left 10 dead and several injured. For his Billboard performance, the rapper was seen singing his hits in a room set up to look like a winter bunker. Scott was seen wearing a fuzzy satchel over his furry pants during the performance. He performed Mafia at the ceremony with backup dancers, also dressed in furs.

Travis is currently preparing for the release of his new album Utopia in 2022 and during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards he also debuted a new track from the same. Scott who was joined by his girlfriend Kylie Jenner and their daughter Stormi Webster for the event was also cheered on by the mother-daughter who sat in the audience during her performance.

Amid his new album and BBMA performance, Travis is also facing legal action from Astroworld attendees. Recently, a woman who attended the concert sued the rapper for her pregnancy loss during the mob incident. Previously, Travis spoke about the incident with Charlamagne Tha God and said, “I’ve been through something, the fans have been through something, people’s parents have been through something. It really hurts, it hurts a community hurts a city.”
