Ed Sheeran will shoot up to ten epic music videos for his new album next year
ED Sheeran has been teasing new music for some time – and I can reveal that later this month he’ll be shooting an epic series of videos to go along with it.
Edwho officially releases his sixth studio album next year, recorded at his home studio and plans to use the English countryside and seaside as a backdrop for his shoot.
So it looks like some spectacular visuals are already in the box.
He’ll shoot up to ten videos as part of a story and they’ll be some of his most creative and ambitious yet – including him seemingly falling off a cliff and appearing as a monster.
Song title names include Salt Water, Boat, Eyes Closed and Dusty – which sees him making breakfast with his two-year-old Lyra girl.
Ed has Lyra and her baby girl Jupiter with wife Cherry Seaborn — and his fatherhood experiences feature in his new music.
A source said: “Ed is really excited about his new material and can’t wait to put his imagination to the test with the help of his creative video team.
“Of course, becoming a father was an amazing experience for him, so he incorporated those thoughts into his lyrics, along with many other ideas. This is the first time he will be shooting a series of videos in one story, but he thinks it will be special.
The singer’s latest album, Equals, went double platinum last October, with lead single Bad Habits becoming the most played song of the year.
He resumes the tour in New Zealand in February so hopefully he gets a well-deserved break once he shoots those videos.
The chart topper has put his fingers in quite a few pies at the moment – last week The Sun revealed he had registered a new brand, Tingly Ted’splunging into the world of condiments by creating its own range of sauces and seasonings.
Enjoying the spice of life, huh Ed?
Kim is looking for love with guys from London
The blonde bombshell, who performed with Sam at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday night, was looking for romance on A-list dating app Raya in London.
I’m not surprised that Kim is looking for a man while she’s here because she’s always been attracted to British guys.
She said in 2009: “I’m a big fan of Britain. This is so cool. Everything is interesting there. I wish I could live there all the time.
“I learned my English by watching British TV. The UK is just awesome. And men are so sexy.
Hopefully an English gentleman has already taken her out on a date.
Hailey is a ruffle seeker
The model, who swapped her signature blonde locks for a gorgeous mix of brunettes, donned lacy lingerie and suspenders for the Hollywood soiree, alongside her hubby justin and friends Kendall Jenner, Winnie Harlow and Tyga.
Well, if you have it, post it.
I bet Biebs couldn’t wait to get her home.
Bbno$ love for drag
FEW rappers are progressive enough to dress in drag, but Bbno$ would recommend it after donning lips, heels and a blonde wig for his yoga video.
The Canadian star told me, “I felt so famous in drag. I loved walking into a cafe that was all set up and sassy. It was the dumbest experience.
I became someone else for a day and it was really fun. It allows you to turn off and on.
Bbno$ have just released their new album Bag Or Die and I can reveal that they will be performing at Brixton Academy on April 5th next year. He said: “I love London – it’s such a cool vibe.”
She’s got the brilliant Steff
STEFFLON Don can add a string to his bow since the rapper has taken her first steps in styling.
The star launched her own clothing range with online retailer Shein on Thursday with a performance and a glitzy party at the Mandrake Hotel in central London.
Speaking earlier this year Steffwho wore a figure-hugging dress and a funky furry orange jacket to the party, revealed her ambition.
She said, “I really want to sell arenas – it’s on my to-do list – and I know I’m going to get there because I’m going to keep working and keep delivering music.”
Tom is up for a party hit
THE race for the No1 Christmas Slot is still hotly contested, and I can reveal Tom Grennan is the latest star to throw his hat in the ring.
The Little Bit Of Love singer has secretly holed up in the studio preparing a celebratory track for release in December.
My musical mole tells me, “Tom loves Christmas. It’s his favorite time of year and he’s wanted to look festive for ages.
“He is really happy with the lyrics and hopes they will catch on. It’s a lot less cheesy than a lot of the others out there.
I previously revealed that Frank Skinner, David Baddiel and the Lightning Seeds were repack their Three Lions football anthem as a festive piece, and Andrea Corr and Alicia’s Keys both confirmed new Christmas records.
It’s the season. . .
Mimi: my advice from Adele
MIMI Webb managed to keep her cool when she met her idol Adele recently.
The British singer, whose latest single Ghost Of You topped the charts, called me for a chat to ask about the chance encounter.
She said: “I’ve always been a big fan of Adele so when my manager introduced her to me at an event recently I just couldn’t believe it was really happening.
“I was trying to keep my composure and look normal. It was such a pinch moment for me.
“She’s so sweet and down to earth – we were talking as usual, then I remembered I was talking to one of the biggest pop stars in the world.
“She actually gave me some really good advice and told me to enjoy the moment.
“She was like, ‘This is a really exciting time for you, take it all in stride. So I’ve been trying to remember that lately.
“This job puts me in all these amazing situations and I always try to ask for advice on touring and songwriting. It’s been such a positive and exciting journey.
Mimi, who will be taking Europe by storm next year with his tour, added: “2023 is going to be my biggest year yet. I definitely feel the adrenaline.
Meghan and the hypnotist
MEGHAN Trainor has revealed she has a TOC– related condition called dermatillomania, which causes him to remove the skin from his fingers.
The American singer said: “I have a habit of scratching my skin on my thumbs.
It’s like a snake shedding its skin – if I start it, I have to finish it.
“I know I have OCD. I went to a hypnotist who had helped people quit after 50 years, and even she couldn’t help me.
“It’s my vice for life. Luckily, I’m not one to drink alcohol or do drugs, which is part of my family history. I just choose.
Caught LIVE: Boy and Bear
AUSSIE folk band Boy & Bear have returned to the UK in an unlikely setting after several years.
Opening with Lordy May, Dave Hosking’s powerful vocals cut through the mix to hauntingly fill out Hackney Church.
Highlights included the touching lyricism and catchy pre-chorus on the funky Just To Be Kind, and a fantastic cover of Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game.
After closing their set with the euphoric State Of Flight, the band were brought back on stage for two encores by a cheering crowd.
A memorable evening of warm folk-pop in an unforgettable location.
Caught LIVE: Jazmin Bean
ALT pop singer Jazmin Bean appeared on stage through a backdoor, dressed in a ball gown and eye-catching makeup, as if she had just arrived straight from a Tim Burton movie.
The genre concert opened with the title track from their album Worldwide Torture, a song that brings together soft vocals with disturbing lyrics.
Bean perfectly set the tone for an evening of horror-inspired pop theater.
Highlights included their songs Puppy Pound and the chaotic War Zone Urchin.
The night of boundary-pushing hyper-pop was an interaction partygoers won’t soon forget.
