How to watch the 2022 Billboard Music Awards

It’s time for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA), which will air live Sunday, May 15 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on NBC and Peacock.
The BBMAs set themselves apart from other awards, like the Grammys, by recognizing artists based on factors such as album sales, digital downloads, radio airplay, tour numbers and social engagement. There is therefore not necessarily a committee that subjectively decides the winner of each category. That means fans can help their favorites win by playing their songs a few more times, going to a few more gigs, and using those Twitter fingers.
With new performances from some of today’s most popular musicians, including Ed Sheeran, Silk Sonic and Megan Thee Stallion, this year’s ceremony is shaping up to be a can’t-miss event.
Here’s everything you need to know to watch the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.
