Mark Zuckerberg’s Sister Randi Shares Crypto Music Videos

In case you’re wondering what terrible things the Zuckerberg family is doing for the internet these days, we have an update. Randi Zuckerberg, sister of Facebook/Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, really got into cryptocurrency, to the point of making NFT music videos.

Zuckerberg was previously director of market development at Facebook, but has since shifted her focus to “building the inclusive universe,” as she put it. Twitter. His latest project, the NFT platform Hugfocuses on creating space for women in tech and finance, which explains her latest music video, a version of Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Gonna Take It” titled “We’re All Gonna Make It”.

A reference to the Web3 acronym WAGMI, which builds on the cryptocurrency’s promise to make anyone who uses it successful, “We’re All Gonna Make It” sees Zuckerberg and several other girlbosses don metal outfits from the 80s and sing lines like “Carpe your crypto die.

Zuckerberg previously chose Adele’s “Hello” as another victim, becoming a full Jehovah’s Witness to deliver the opening line: “Hello, it’s me / Would you like to know more about the cryptocurrency exchange?” When she shared the video, the businesswoman explained her pivot to parody videos, saying “the community should be FUN, crypto should be welcoming and not intimidating and why not?!?! We believe that it’s about working hard AND enjoying this incredible, crazy time we find ourselves in. The best way to support creators is to be creators! My apologies, Adele.” At least she apologized.

The eldest of the Zuckerberg brothers’ pivot to music is actually not without precedent. A former member of a cappella group The Harvard Opportunes, the businesswoman appeared in the Broadway production of rock of ages in 2014, first covering “We’re Not Gonna Take It” as Hollywood City Planner Regina.

Ten years ago I sang this song on Broadway. Today I sing this song, surrounded by new friends, as a rallying cry for the women of web3. Together we can accomplish anything. And have fun doing it! #WAGMI

PS Look for funny cameos!
